| What's your favorite video game of all time? This is a hard one for a lot, so if you don't know your favorite one you can always make a top 3. My favorite video game ever would be The Last of Us, my second favorite would probably be the Sly Cooper games - my favorite being the third one, my third would be Far Cry 3, the game that introduced me to a lot of different horrible things, and also told a great story. The thing I really liked about The Last of Us is both the level design and the story, allowing for the levels to be on a path still, but also have places for the player to explore to loot for things. The thing I loved about the Sly Cooper games was the gameplay, and some of the story. It was wacky, funny, and the friendship of the three main characters was really cool. Far Cry 3 was one of my favorites because the gameplay and the story. The gameplay was fluid and felt like you made an impact when you fought, instead of bullets just hitting someone the bullet made the guy jump or fall, or whatever. The story of Far Cry was really.. different. I loved how the creators actually made the main character - Jason - go into insanity, because he was doing a bunch of crazy shit. I could ramble on forever, but anyway - what's your favorite game(s), you don't need to write an essay like me, just list them if you want. I'd like to know your guys' tastes. |

| That's Skyrim for me, definitely. I know its main storyline is not that interesting or long, but the sheer number of possibilities that game offers to mod itself is just staggeringly beautiful to me. I know a lot of people roast Skyrim for being somewhat boring at basegame level to the older Elder Scroll games, but the reality of the situation is that half of the people that bought Skyrim on pc probably bought it because of all the mods you can put on that game. And honestly that is it for me to make a gem of a game, Sandbox-ability. If you can turn a game into another game simply by adding couple of assets, that means for more possibilities, more hours of gameplay and, purely, just more fun. |

| I grew up playing runescape. I have lots of good memories from that old game! Haha. I also enjoyed the old Medal of Honor games growing up. |

| man i eat sleep n breath videogames, i grew up playing the old school platformer games of the old nintendo, since we were to cheap to get the latest consoles, then my bro got the original turok on the PC he loved it alot so i got jelous and wanted a game of my own... they got me lego island.. it was fun but i needed blood. so my folks for heavy gear, that was great, me n dad would share control of the robot when ever i would shoot he would shake the chair n what not it was great, then i really got into games, i think the first game i got on my own, with permission because that was a thing back then, i got Medal of honor Allied Assault, thats where my love of FPS and World war 2 just blew open my bro was still playing command and conquer, and id play tiberian sun n such but man medal of honor was my game, all the way up until the very original call of duty came out then man my world got bigger because you wouldn't be alone. i think my multiplayer experience started in the later medal of honors and when i got the original call of duty. keep in mind back then games didn't come in small DvD boxes, they would come out in highly decorated 8.5x11 cardboard boxes with a flip open panel man games were soo freakin sweet and complete back then. another game i was into was the toy army men series that was neat but i enjoyed the skirmishes better. when i was in middle school i too got into runescape, there was something about the simple graphics, the everyday skills you could grind through, and the overall fun and simplicity of it, that me and my small group of friends just freaking loved, i still hop on every now n then just to check it out, and man its changed a lot. ever since those games its been a roller coaster of experiences, even Half life 2 and its mods played a big role for me in gaming during high school, infact it introduced me to realism. ever since then ive been playing mods, and realism games and multiplayer community games, i hate match making, i enjoy having a personal relationship with my gaming buds. after i joined the military and flunked out, i missed the life, and then i got into arma 2 which is like a giant step for realism/milsim i literally used it to fill that hole, played it all day all night every day. and well i still do sometimes but i ended up here after some experiences in my last milisim unit drove me away from the game. being alone i had to find something else, and i needed something i could just jump in and jump out whenever i wanted and didn't have to worry about mods and match making, and all the other annoyances arma had, and well thats where the 193rd came in and where i landed, and i must say its been an awesome time! so basically favorite game, anything that has milsim in it, but is quick and easy to get into. |

| Lippa, I think you just wrote the first chapter of a book titled "Eat, Sleep n' Breathe Video games" Haha. Thanks for sharing man. I used to get lost in the runescape community and the social aspect of it.. I wish games still had that sort of environment now a-days. It's so competitive/pvp driven anymore. Waters down the social aspect. Glad we have our community here for the social network. |

| I've really been enjoying Day of Infamy lately, and have started playing Ghost Recon: Wildlands with a couple of old friends. My favorite though is still Day of Defeat: Source. Mostly because I've been playing it since Alpha of the pre-source version of DoD. That and the fact that my dad and I still play each other in that game several times per week makes it an easy choice. |

| Hey, Corporal
There are still a good number of people playing DoD:S. It’s not AS populated as it was, but I still play with my dad and a bunch of others almost every night. |

| Day of Defeat 1.3 is even more of a classic ;)
It's the game I started my realism career in, but it only averages around 40 players per day now, it was a very popular, excellent game back in the day. |

| 1.3! That’s the one. Lol. I couldn’t remember what it was called so I call it pre-source. I actually greatly prefer some aspects of that version. I loved playing as British and using the Enfield. Oh, or the FG42 sniper that was available. I also loved having a carbine class. The Gewehr 43 was my favorite weapon in the game, and now it’s my favorite in DOI. It’s actually why I bought the game when I did. Lol. My first realism experience came in early 2010 though. eGO used to run realism every Saturday, and eventually got into realism tournaments. |

| Gotta be Red Dead Redemption, that game was such a huge part of growing up for me and really sparked my interest in historical topics that weren't exclusively to do with war, and focuses on a particularly interesting time to me. Though maybe I'm biased because I live in cowboy land hahah |

| Guitar Hero Arcade (which was basically just Guitar Hero 3)
I really enjoyed Guitar Hero 3, and being able to play it at arcades and show off to my friends how good I am is so great. The best part is whenever you play, there's always another Guitar Hero nut around the corner that challenges you. |
