I'm looking forward to watching Dunkirk
T2 Trainspotting; I can't believe it was 21 years ago when I seen the first film.
and Hacksaw Ridge.

Dunkirk looks really good. I could live without seeing hacksaw ridge though. Maybe if they had a different actor for the main character I would be more inclined.

Trainspotting is a favorite of mine, does a good job of telling a story about addiction without demonizing addicts as being subhuman. Definitely looking forward to the sequel.
I'm hoping Dunkirk will be good as well, a topic not really covered often. Atonement had a pretty cool Dunkirk scene made more impressive by the fact that it is a 5 minute scene done in a single tracking shot with no cuts.
There's the scene, for anyone interested.
Movies I'm looking forward to... Well, I hope the live action Ghost in the Shell isn't garbage.
The Lost City of Z looks like it might be alright. I'm a sucker for those types of stories about going on an expedition into unfamiliar and hostile environment, and I'm an even bigger sucker for jungles and lost tribes.

After just reading the Arthurian Tales for English I'm way more hyped for it than I originally was. Also it just looks dope.

I was so excited to find a free stream of Jack Reacher: Never Go Back but it turned out to be not-as-hyped-as-i-like. If thats a word haha!
I can't begin to explain how excited I am to see TRANSFORMERS 5: The Last Knight!

The new Transformers looks awesome but they're really dragging this franchise out in my opinion. I'll still see it though.
I've been waiting for Super Troopers 2 for a long time. It's going to be so damn funny.
I kind of want to see the new Power Rangers too. I remember seeing the old movie in the theater when I was a kid, a little nostalgia.

Is it odd I live in central Vermont and I've never seen Super Troopers?

Last night I went to see Kong: Skull Island, IMAX of course. But, that's not what I want to share. What I want to share is the IMAX exclusive 7 minute Dunkirk prologue that was shown before the movie. Holy shit!!! - I yelled at the end. Other people just shouted "wooow". Guys, Dunkirk is going to be one of - if not the best - WW2 movie ever made. Nolan is a genius.

I seriously wanna spend another $15 for the IMAX ticket today again, just to see those 7 minutes, then leave the auditorium
Also, I'm confident to say, only based on those 7 minutes, that Dunkirk will win Oscar in these categories next year: Best cinematography, best audio editing, best sound, best editing. Sorry, I'm just still amazed by what I've seen.

Lavinia treated me in taking me to watch Hacksaw Ridge! Excellent film, I also like the mini interview at the end of the film.
The trailer for Dunkirk was shown before the film and it gave me goosebumps!

Kinda late, but I really liked Dunkirk. I love it that we don't get to see a fixed main character but whole group of people. Like we don't even know who was that ground trooper as it is irrelevant. Sound effects were excellent, I can't imagine what were Allied forces thinking when they heard Stuka's diving sound.
